The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for website your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
